RTO Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer

This high efficient system guarantees very low fuel-consumption. The RTO can be designed to for a self-sustaining (no fuel) operation from a loading of 1 g-VOC’s/Nm³.

A highly sophisticated control system allows optimal operation even under variable processing conditions.

Due to the long residence time of the VOC loaded air in the oxidation chamber, the treated exhaust values are guaranteed to satisfy stringent discharge limits. The complete unit is made from high quality material with a proven robust design that requires minimal maintenance.

The Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers are normally used in applications with low VOC (Volatile Organic Carbon) concentrations but large waste stream flow rates. The system uses a bed of ceramic material to absorb heat from the exhaust gas. The ceramic bed then preheats the incoming process gas containing VOC’s. The RTO’s have a high thermal energy recovery and are normally used to destroy air toxics and VOC’s that are discharged from various industrial processes.
