Tialoc Demineralization systems ranging from conventional ion exchange, to reverse osmosis membrane technology and the Electrodeionization Unit.

The selection of systems for a particular application is based on process water analysis and treatment objective. Tialoc categorises the demineralisation system into two basic categories, which are working demineralizers and polishing demineralizers.

Working Demineralizers consist of either a Cation/Anion or reverse osmosis (RO) system. Cation /Anion systems use any combination of specialized ion exchange units to achieve the water purity determined by your process requirements. RO systems use membrane technology to provide a continuous process with reduced chemical consumption. The working demineralization stage does a thorough job purifying your raw process water, removing the largest portion, about 95% to 99.9%, of mineral contamination and bringing your water quality close to your desired purity.

Polishing Demineralizers are specialized systems that are used after the working demineralization stage to reduce any residual minerals and ionic content. This group includes the conventional Mixed-Bed Ion Exchange and the Electrodeionization unit. In some applications, such as low-pressure boilers, polishing is not required.
